All designs
Each design needs pictures, a short description, a novelty statement and its Net area / Projected area. The ratio is checked by everyone else before the design can be scored.
Peer review
Check the Net area / Projected area values
Every member except the uploader reviews each value. Confirm it if it looks right, or propose your own value with a short reason. When everyone has answered, the value is locked: unanimous confirmations keep the stated value, otherwise the median of all values is used.
Designs without a value
Imported or older designs. The designer (or anyone who knows the figures) states the value; that person becomes the uploader.
